SPIR STAR UHP Thermoplastic Hose

Since the foundation of the company, SPIR STAR®has specialized in the production of ultra-high-pressure thermoplastic hoses.

We have developed a wide range of hose types and connections to meet the complex and demanding requirements that arise in the industries. Thus, we offer the right product for many applications.

Our range of hoses includes hoses with inner diameters from 3 mm to 32 mm and a pressure range up to max. 4,000 bar / 58,000 psi.

To complement our high-pressure hoses, we also offer a wide range of hose fittings in a variety of thread types, sizes and materials.

The range of fittings includes High-Pressure, Medium-Pressure, NPT, JIC, BSPP, Type-M and Metric fittings.

Our hoses are subject to high quality standards in order to guarantee our customers a high level of safety even at high pressures. In this respect, many of our hoses are certified according to international standards such as DIN EN 1829-2 or ISO 19880-5.

Adopters made of SS316 upto 4000 bar

In order to connect hose assemblies or to always have the right connection element at hand in pressure systems, SPIR STAR®offers a variety of adaptation options.

Our adapters offer flexible connection options for applications with liquid and gaseous media in the fields of oil & gas, hydraulics, and water jets.

All products are made of 316 stainless steel as a standard to withstand the high temperatures and pressures typical of the application.

Quick Resealse Couplers (QRC)

Regardless of the industry, SPIR STAR® offers cross-industry solutions of various quick disconnect couplers. The range of couplers includes both plug-in couplers and screw-type couplers. The portfolio also includes couplers with or without integrated check valves. The maximum possible working pressure is 2,070 bar / 30,000 psi.

SPIR STAR Ultra-High-Pressure Valve

SPIR STAR® ultra-high-pressure valves are specifically designed for liquid and gaseous media applications and are available with a wide variety of thread types as needle, ball, pressure relief or check valves. These range up to a maximum working pressure of 4,140 bar/ 60,000 psi and are made primarily of cold-forged stainless steel to withstand the high temperatures and pressures encountered in these applications.

Needle Valve

SPIR STAR® needle valves are manufactured to the highest quality standards, achieving high safety and durability even under severe operating conditions. The valves can be used with both gaseous and liquid media and can be opened or closed in 4 ½ turns.

It should be emphasized here that SPIR STAR® AG can also offer fast-opening needle valves, which can be opened or closed in just 1 3/4 turns.

In addition, all SPIR STAR® needle valves allow flow in all directions. The innovative design reduces vibration, eliminating the need for an external clamp to secure the stam. Relief holes are also available.

Traceability is guaranteed at all times thanks to the marking on the valves. In addition, SPIR STAR® needle valves are supplied including collars and gland nuts.

In addition to the manually operated needle valves, SPIR STAR® AG also offers pneumatically operated needle valves.

Ball Valve

Since we attach great importance to the quality of our products, all SPIR STAR® ball valves are manufactured in the “trunnion style”. Due to the more complex technical design of the valve, a significantly longer service life can be achieved compared to other ball valves. It should also be emphasized that the valves can be offered with different orifices.

In addition, ball valves with pneumatic or electric actuation are possible.

Check Valve

SPIR STAR® check valves are characterized by their long service life and thus prevent backflow and damage in pressure systems. Here, SPIR STAR® AG offers both ball and O-ring check valves. While the O-ring check valve is often used in gas applications, the ball check valve is used in high temperature ranges and dynamic applications.

Relief Valves, Double block and bleed Valves

SPIR STAR® check valves are characterized by their long service life and thus prevent backflow and damage in pressure systems. Here, SPIR STAR® AG offers both ball and O-ring check valves. While the O-ring check valve is often used in gas applications, the ball check valve is used in high temperature ranges and dynamic applications.
